This is the lovely, soft and sweet color challenge from Play Date Cafe this week ... I wasn't going to play but then it popped up on my FaceBook and said "you still have time to play today" and I just couldn't resist :) |
Here's is my very soft and sweet card. Aside from the sentiment, which I LOVE! Don't you love it!?! Images are all second generation stamped for a faint, softer feel. I saw a gorgeous white on white card the other day and wanted to do something similar, Ivory on Ivory. I used all CTMH products for this card. |
I like this one ... I made another but tried to incorporate a color challenge also and therefore ... wasn't too crazy about it so didn't share on Split Coast ... Any way; this is the one I posted and I think it's kinda cool. Thanks for looking! |
Here's the Clean and Simple Creative Inspiration from CAS-ual Fridays this week -- Thanks! |
Here's one card I made, I used direct stamp pad to paper. this one I used the same color and tried to triple swipe the pad to get the three color effect ... didn't work to well in this case. |
This is my second card - this time used three different colors of ink - I like it but ran out of room for the sentiment - oops! Doesn't get much cleaner or simpler or stamped than this now does it!?!? Thank you for looking and I hope you have a delightful day. |
Here's the lovely color inspiration from Play Date Cafe |
Here's my card. Not loving it at all. My plan went awry in every way. It's done. That's all I can say. |
This is the fun fabulous and colorful challenge from Play Date this week |
I really liked what I did with the stamping on the lime frame ... but the inside didn't turn out how I wanted at all ... |
After I kept messing up the inside of the smile card, I just decided to flip the center over and go this route ... plain but I kind of like it ... |
It's the 200th Celebration! Check out Mojo Monday! |
Here is my entry for this week's sketch ♥ Thanks for looking! |
Here's the gorgeously scrumptious inspiration from over at Case Study this week, Mmmm! Delicious! |
Here's my offering; I was inspired by the pretty buttons and don't often go the button route so thought I would give it a go. Thanks for looking! |
Sarah Anderson, YOU WILL BE MISSED! You have been such a beautiful ray of sunshine and inspiration to me and I appreciate every last piece of gorgeous art you have posted; thank YOU. ♥This color splash challenge is what's happening over at Play Date Cafe this week ♥ |
♥ Here's my humble offering, dedicated to the amazing & talented Sarah Anderson, because of course I don't know you personally but you have inspired me greatly and I am "so GLAD God gave me you" ♥ ....through the wonder of blogger ♥ |
After months of waiting and great anticipation; the first challenge is finally here; YAY! Unfortunately, it has fallen into a week with ZERO minutes of "play time" ... so my card is definitely casual! |
My very simple card ♥ "I love you." Dedicated to the SUPER talented design team at CASual Fridays! |
Buttons and Twine Challenge posted just after I posted buttons & twine; Go figure! Well, I'm sure I can't win whatever there is to win but since these cards are perfect for the CAS-ual Fridays challenge, I just thought that perhaps some of you might like to see it. (I had posted these 3 days before the challenge for last week's Mojo Monday Challenge.) For anyone that's not playing at CAS-ual Fridays yet, although from last week's entires it seems as though EVERYONE Is playing, GO CHECK OUT THE SITE! It's AWESOME! |
I loved the sketch so much I actually made 4 cards ... I think they turned out pretty darn cute too! |
I used Close to my Heart Papers and Verve Stamps for these 4 cards |
I didn't see that we were suppose to add a sentiment to the bottom right until I had completed them ... oops, I thought about adding a wee frame but I didn't think it really needed any more. |
Last card; I LOVE the adorable mushrooms! I have had a little bag of these CTMH cardboard buttons sitting for what feels like a decade ... so happy to have finally used them! |
♥ And here's a pic of all 4 together; a delightful little card family ♥ |
More fantastically fabulous color inspiration from the Play Date Cafe this week! |
I needed to make some baby cards so I used a new (to me) CTMH stamp set. I made a few like this, with the pink image and a number of more "boy" cards too with a little boy image stamped in blue. Nothing very fancy but I'm glad they're done and I have a few on hand now. |
All products are CTMH here today. Colors are Tulip, Blush, Lilac Mist and White Daisy. |
Here's the beautiful card we are to use as inspiration from CASE Study Challenge. I studied it. I CASED it ... in my own way ... I usually try to make a quick sketch on scratch paper to take with me into my scrappin room but I didn't this time ... mine came out pretty close though. With sincere Gratitude for the inspiration, A huge THANKS to the incredible Silke Ledlow |
I've been really wanting to try making these paper flowers for quite sometime and finally gave it a go the other night ... not too bad for my first try .... I made this card for my beautiful and amazing Mom for Mother's Day. I wasn't sure exactly what to do with the flowers once I made them ... I was originally going to group them where the bow is but then I couldn't find a stamp I liked to go in the circle ... so I went this direction .... I have a Verve-valicious parcel on it's way, full of new stamps to stamp the inside but I thought this Verve stamp I already had would be a perfect sentiment for the outside of her card. All paper and inks, brads and "cherish" tag are by CTMH. |
Here's the sketch from Mojo Monday this week |
♥ Here's my card for my husband ... complete with pop off "hero badge" ♥ |
❀ The incredible and Beautiful Sketch. Love it! ❀ |
❀ The Lovely Spring Colors + Crochet Trim Challenge from Embellish ❀ |
I used CTMH card stock, Verve Stamps, CTMH Ink, Dollar Store Crochet Ribbon, and a Martha Stewart Punch. I stamped and sanded all the paper. I inked the crochet trim and then over-lapped it with another strip of crochet trim that I didn't ink. Not really lovin' it. |
The bunnies are back! My yard is full of cute little bunnies, (I say they're cute now but just wait until summer comes and I'm fighting to defend my garden from the pesky rabbits!), cute little bunnies and lovely, happy tulips! Happy Spring Everyone! So with the inspiration of my yard and the Play Date Cafe I quickly created this fast and easy little card using my Cricut, (I think this is Give a Hoot) and a CTMH stamp. Sorry Play Date Peeps, I had to add a wee splash of color for the tulips, I had intended to keep to the challenge colors and make them white but they just didn't show up enough ... is that okay? A huge and happy Thank YOU for looking today! Hope your day is wonderful and full of much love and many blessings! |
Here is the positively beautiful inspiration from CASE study this week; I love their site! Great new inspiration every week ... each team member is more talented than the last! If you're looking to be inspired and get out of your box, head on over! This girl has a knack for Clean & Simple, and no one rocks white space as masterfully as she does. Dear ladies, let's join our hands together for the amazing Silke Ledlow!!! ... sorry in advance about my photos today ... my other camera's out on the town. |
I was inspired by the clean lines, pops of color and beautiful butterflies on Silke's card. Also, years ago. I saw a very similar card and have always wanted to give it a go! Thank You so much for taking the time to look at my humble offerings here today :) |
I stamped the butterflies and then embossed with some powder that had a wee touch of sparkle to it ... one of my custom mixes :) |
Then I just used a sponge to add the colors, from stamp pads, I didn't worry about getting out of the lines because then of course, I cut out all the butterflies and glued them on the white base. One simple sentiment in black and she was done! Stamps and Ink and Paper are CTMH today. |
The Lovely Inspiration from Tuesday Trigger: A Burst of Flowers. This is a new challenge blog I have just discovered but when I saw it and this pretty pic of this gorgeous Japanese Flower Scarf, I not only really wanted the scarf, I also REALLY want to play along! |
The site says to be sure and explain how I was inspired ... well duh :) By all the beautiful, bright, happy flowers! So many flowers in fact that they wouldn't all fit on a card, oh no, they spilled out and all over and into a paper bag book! Full of flowers inside and out :) |
A little frustrated I can't seem to rotate this ... any ideas people? It wasn't this way in my photo folder ... |
I told you, page after page bursting with flowers! I can't wait until summer when my garden is in full bloom! |
More flowers! |
This paper really reminded me of the photo inspiration and I knew I wanted to use lots of it! |
And finally one big bloom just for fun! Thanks so much for looking! Now where can I go buy that pretty scarf!?! |
