H2H Challenge, Sentimentally Yours

Well, I'm feeling way more on the ball this week! Look at me go.
Feeling very fortunate & blessed to have had a wonderful & successful first week of school, I thought it only fitting to make a couple cards for some fabulous teachers. I actually love how these cards turned out and making the background paper was so much fun! I made two 12x12 sheets and I adore it so much I think I will create some more for scrapbook pages. It's fun and far from perfect ... just like me! My little guys are in Grade one this year so I went with a kind of primary colors theme; twilight, cranberry, desert sand, creme brule, and olive. The stampe sets I used were the September word puzzle and the Thank You set. I'm sorry I can never seem to remember the exact names ... my room's like at least thirty feet away so to get up and walk there to confirm the names would be next to impossible. I'm sure you can understand. Anyway, hope you like it, another very simple but very DONE card. That's what I'm going for these days, done.
Thank you very much for looking and have a most delightful day! :)

Wait For Me! I want to play too! H2H

Well, the weeks keep flying by and I keep missing the deadlines for the wonderful Heart2Heart challenges, so I tried a little stampin' yesterday in between a beautiful blue sky bike ride with my beautiful blue eyed boys and creating a scrumptious sockeye salmon supper. Go me. I put the cards together this morning and went grocery shopping while waiting for the ink to dry :)

So, I have to say, I was not super impressed with the color combo but have been bound and determined to play this week if it kills me so here's what I did. I used CTMH's glorious textured cardstock that I bought on that smokin' deal they had a few months back. I random stamped the Honey with Honey and Autumn Terracotta and inked the edges with the same colors also. Card base in the New England Ivy, stamped the sentiment and double matted both. Super Simple. I used some of these darling and delightful wooden butterfly buttons to finish it off, I dragged them across the Autumn Terracotta Ink Pad ... hope that will lighten up a bit over night.
I know nothing fancy but hey, I did it. I played. Again, go me.

Summer Memories Paper Bag Album for H2H Challenge

Here is a cheery little paper bag album that I created for the TAG challenge this week ~ Super Easy as I used the Stickers instead of stamping this time ~ Went together in no time and I think, turned out super cute! :) I made two of these for gifts for some dear family members so the kids could have a little mini album to look through and remember how much fun we had this summer. Each book is packed full of sweet and simple tags for writing memories and sharing pictures. All CTMH but I did use some flower punches too. All the borders and flowers are popped up on strips of paper so our photos can slip under and behind. Thank YOU for looking! :) Have a happy day!

Summer Fun PaperBag Album :)

My apologies for being unable to rotate the pic :)
I decided to make two of these little summer memories paper bag albums for some sweet family members; I packed them full of simple but cute TAGS to share summer memories and photos. Hope you like! :)

Another for the Heart 2 Heart, Different Look Inspired by Same Sketch

I went a little "outside of the sketch box" on this one but really like how it turned out. I'm having fun stamping my own background/patterned papers lately. I love how the "something splendid"/"seize the day" paper turned out. I used cocoa, tulip, sorbet and creme brulee on this one. Thanks for looking!

For the Heart2Heart

As simple card for the H2H challenge. Colors used are twilight, sorbet and creme brulee. Stamp set is "Thing of Beauty". I meant to incorporate some chocolate and bitty brads also but the kids distracted me and I ended up throwing this together. I rock and rolled all the flower images. :) Thanks for looking!
